What is Instrument Adjusting?
An Impulse adjusting instrument is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the devise that produces a controlled force that chiropractors can use to treat different areas of the body. Impulse adjusting is a new technique developed to provide controlled treatments rather than the traditional manual methods. There is no popping or cracking with these adjustments, but rather a very precise and targeted adjustment designed to specifically care for just the right areas.
A chronic disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and tenderness in localized areas. Chiropractic care has consistently ranked as one of the therapeutic approaches that offer the most relief for the fibromyalgia patient.
Sports and Exercise Injuries
The more commonly injured areas of the body are the ankles, knees, shoulders, elbows, and spine. Many times, the joints are slightly misaligned as a result. Chiropractic is especially effective at restoring proper alignment to allow injured joints to heal properly.
Headaches and Migraines
Over 45 million americans suffer from chronic headache each year. Nearly 1 in 4 households includes someone with migraines. Migraines are a predictor of poor health for the whole life of the patient until remedied. Chiropractic has been shown to be effective in the treatment of headache and migraine headache. 3 headaches per year is considered normal.
Frequent urination especially at night where urgency awakens. It is common, but not normal. Organs should shut down to maintenance mode while sleeping. Healthy patients do not get up at night to urinate. Organs receive their nerve supply from the spine. If those nerves are compromised, then it makes sense that the organ would not function at 100%.
Habitual sleeplessness; inability to sleep. Chiropractic help patients to relax, reduces pain and tension and restores vital nerve supplies to the organs.
Sciatica Nerve Pain
Pain affecting the back, hip, and outer side of the leg, caused by compression of a spinal nerve root in the lower back, often owing to degeneration of an intervertebral disk or subluxation (slight misalignment of vertebrae) of the lumbar spine. Chiropractic has been shown to be effective in removing the cause of sciatica and low back pain.
Having or involving a sensation of spinning around and losing one’s balance. Misalignment of neck vertebra can cause dizziness. Chiropractic can restore the proper function of the neck and may eliminate the cause of dizziness.
Temporormandibular Joint Pain (TMJ)
Jaw joint pain; difficulty chewing due to pain. Realigning the jaw joint with chiropractic treatment may reduce or eliminate TMJ.
Abnormal lateral (side to side) curvature of the spine. Depending upon the severity of the spinal curve, chiropractic has been shown to be effective at straightening or reducing the abnormal curvature of the spine.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects your large intestine (colon). Irritable bowel syndrome commonly causes cramping, abdominal pain, bloating gas, diarrhea and constipation.
Sleepless nights for baby and parents. Can also be affectionately known as “baby heartburn”. Unfortunately, treated the same way but the medical community. Prilosec and similar heartburn medications being given to infants who sometimes are only weeks old. Horrible side effects to these medications but chiropractic adjustments can help!
